Purposes of processing and legal bases:Your personal data are collected for the following purposes:
(1) Processing your contact request: handling your request, operational coordination, collaboration or technical questions.
Legal basis: your consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
(2) EUROPEUM-EDIC communications (only if you expressly consent below): sending newsletters, institutional updates and event invitations.
Legal basis: your consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Retention period:
For the processing of your request: your data are retained for the time necessary to handle your request, then for a maximum period of 12 months from our last exchange, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
For communications: your data are retained until you withdraw your consent.
Recipients of your data: Your data are processed by authorised EUROPEUM-EDIC staff. They may be shared with EUROPEUM-EDIC's technical sub processors strictly necessary for the purposes described above (website hosting, CRM tool), in full compliance with the GDPR and under data processing agreements pursuant to Article 28 thereof. Your data are not sold or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union: Where data are processed by technical providers located outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, EUROPEUM-EDIC ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or other adequate transfer mechanism).
Your rights: Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: right of access (Art. 15), right to rectification (Art. 16), right to erasure (Art. 17), right to restriction of processing (Art. 18), right to data portability (Art. 20), and the right to withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7(3)), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal. Regarding the right to object provided for under Article 21 of the GDPR, please note that since the processing carried out through this form is based exclusively on your consent, the applicable mechanism to bring the processing to an end is the withdrawal of that consent, rather than the right to object in the strict sense of Article 21, which applies to processing based on legitimate interests or public interest.
